The basic structure of automobile electric sunroof is mainly composed of sliding mechanism, driving mechanism, control system and switch. Structure and operation principle of each part:

1. Sliding mechanism

The sliding mechanism of electric sunroof is mainly composed of guide block, guide pin, connecting rod, bracket, front and rear pillow seats, etc.

2. Driving mechanism

The driving mechanism of electric skylight is mainly composed of motor, transmission mechanism and sliding screw（ 1) Motor. Motor. Power is supplied to the opening and closing of the sunroof through the transmission device. The motor can rotate in both directions, that is, by changing the direction of current to change the rotation direction of the motor, the opening and closing of the skylight can be realized（ 2) Transmission mechanism. The transmission mechanism is mainly composed of worm gear transmission mechanism, intermediate gear transmission mechanism (driving intermediate gear, transition intermediate gear) and driving gear. The gear transmission mechanism receives the electric power, changes the rotation direction, decelerates and increases the torque, and then transmits the power to the sliding screw to open and close the skylight; At the same time, the power is transmitted to the cam to open and close at the beginning of the cam jacking limit. The driving intermediate gear and the worm gear are fixed on the same shaft and rotate synchronously with the worm gear; The transition intermediate gear and the driving gear are fixed on the same output shaft and driven by the driving intermediate gear, so that the driving gear drives the glass to open and close.

3. Switch

The switch of the power sunroof consists of a control switch and a limit switch（ 1) Control switch. It mainly includes sliding switch and ramp up switch. The sliding switch has three gears: sliding on, sliding off and off (middle position). The ramp up switch also has three gears: ramp up, ramp down and off (middle position). By operating these switches, the motor of the sunroof driving mechanism can realize forward and reverse rotation, and the sunroof can work under different states（ 2) Limit switch. The limit switch is mainly used to detect the position of the sunroof, just like a travel switch. The limit switch is opened and closed by the rotation of the cam, which is installed at the power output end of the driving mechanism. When the motor outputs power, it drives the cam to rotate after decelerating through the driving gear and sliding screw, so the protrusion part around the cam pushes the switch to open and close, so as to realize the automatic control of the skylight.

4. Control system

The control system ECU is a digital control circuit with timer, buzzer and relay. Its function is to receive the information input by the switch, conduct logic operation through the digital circuit, and determine the action of the relay to control the opening and closing of the window.
